Radware Joins the Cyber Threat Alliance
SAN FRANCISCO, April 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (RSA Booth # S1609) — Radware® (NASDAQ:RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, has joined the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA), an information and intelligence-sharing forum for the industry’s leading cybersecurity practitioners. As its newest member, Radware will engage in two-way information sharing with CTA members to improve global cybersecurity.
“Working together, this community can drastically improve digital security across the globe by disseminating and acting on intelligence in real time,” said Anna Convery-Pelletier, Chief Marketing Officer of Radware. “Dialogue with the CTA community will help all of us accelerate innovation and benefit from the collaboration of ongoing cyber-threat intelligence sharing on the front lines.”
As more IoT devices are deployed across consumer and business application alike, they increase the attack landscape by exponentially increasing the number of attack vectors. This trend creates a greater need for security organizations to collaborate and share threat information with one another. Major security companies, including Radware, have long employed researchers to independently identify new threats and stay ahead of hackers who continuously evolve their techniques. Intelligence gathered from Radware’s research initiatives on global threats will be shared in a good faith manner with CTA members to enhance the security of the overall digital ecosystem, better protect their customers, and improve their own products.
The CTA is a not-for-profit organization that is working to improve the cybersecurity of our global digital ecosystem by enabling near real-time, high-quality cyber threat information sharing among companies and organizations in the cybersecurity field. The alliance continues to expand its global footprint, increasing the number of members and the diversity of data being shared across the platform.
“Radware’s experience with DDoS and application-layer attacks will bring expertise in the application security space and new insights to the threat information sharing across the platform,” said Michael Daniel, President and CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance. “Radware will be an invaluable partner in our mission to raise the level of cybersecurity.”
