PwC Canada reveals finalists for 2018 Vision to Reality Awards

TORONTO, April 10, 2018 /CNW/ - PwC Canada announced today the list of finalists for the 2018 Vision to Reality (V2R) Awards. This year's awards were open to organizations of all sizes, industries and sectors whose innovative ideas have added value to people, business or society.

"Congratulations to all the 2018 V2R Awards finalists. The high quality of applications we received this year is a testament to the continuing growth and influence of Canadian organizations that are making their mark by pushing the boundaries of innovation," said Tahir Ayub, Managing Partner, Markets and Industries, PwC Canada. "We are thrilled to see growth and diversity in applications, evidence that organizations from a range of industries are bringing their visions to life."

An independent panel of judges, comprised of prominent members of the business community with experience in assessing innovative organizations, evaluated the applications. The judging panel selected a shortlist of finalists, which are soon to be further evaluated to identify winners in each category.

For the first time, PwC Canada introduced a new category to recognize innovation in public sector organizations: The Accelerator category. In addition to this new category, the firm will recognize innovation in three other categories: The Visionary, The Builder, and The Reinventor.
