Guns of Boom AR Spectator Mode Comes to Android, Reaches 35 Million Players

SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Game Developers Conference – Reaching 35 million players in just ten months, Game Insight announces that Android players of its critically-acclaimed 4v4 team-based shooter Guns of Boom can now experience a new augmented reality (AR) spectator mode that allows eSports viewers to experience the action from every angle.

Google is showcasing Guns of Boom's Spectator Mode in the new dedicated AR section of the Google Play Store, alongside other projects that have utilized ARCore in their development. Game Insight has also confirmed that they are partnered with Xiaomi and Huawei to bring Spectator Mode to Guns of Boom players on Android devices in China.

Other notable recent Guns of Boom updates include deep localization n both traditional and simplified Chinese to support the game's recent launch in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and the launch of a public beta for their upcoming PRO Play Mode, designed in partnership with leading eSports teams NaVi, Virtus.pro and SK Gaming.
