Local Private School Inducted into Hall of Fame

On Tuesday, March 13, Fairmont Private Schools President David Jackson was unexpectedly honored as the California State University, Fullerton Center for Family Business inducted Fairmont into its Hall of Fame. Jackson did not even learn of the nomination until he accepted the induction at the organization's fourth annual Hall of Fame banquet.

"It was such a fantastic surprise," Jackson said. "I think it's so wonderful. I believe that what we have chosen to do is the most important thing anyone can do for the community and for families - and that's to give our kids the greatest educations possible."

Fairmont Private Schools was one of four inductees at this year's banquet, which recognizes Southern California-based family-owned companies that continue their legacies for generations and strive to bring good to their local communities. Jackson is thankful tobe part of such a respected group and knows that Fairmont will maintain its commitment to provide exemplary educations to all of its students.

"The greatest legacy we can leave is what we are doing and what we have been doing for so many years, which is helping students become the greatest individuals they can be and challenging them to believe they can achieve the goals they set for themselves," he said.

A total of 12 companies were nominated for the Family Business Hall of Fame this year. Nominations are made annually and can be completed online by the businesses themselves or individuals close to the businesses.
