ISG to Publish 25 Best Examples of Digital Transformation

STAMFORD, Conn., March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, today announced it will publish the 25 best examples of digital transformation in its forthcoming book, Shaping the Digital Future of Business: 25 Stories of Successful Enterprise-Provider Partnerships, due out the first week in April.

The new book, the first of its kind published by ISG Research, is the product of a rigorous examination of a significant number of digital case studies submitted by the provider community. ISG evaluated each case study by interviewing the customers involved, assessing the impact of each transformation on the customer's business and indexing the various evaluation criteria to determine the top 25 case studies that would be published in the book.

"We have selected these organizations – the providers and their enterprise customers – as the best of the best because together they have demonstrated a deep – and practical – understanding of what it truly means to digitally transform an enterprise," said Esteban Herrera, partner and global leader, ISG Research. "Through their innovative execution, application of cutting-edge digital technologies and overall commitment to excellence, these providers have helped their customers achieve impressive, tangible business results."

Herrera noted ISG's evaluation process included obtaining direct customer feedback to verify each provider's claims.

In the preface to the full-color book, Herrera wrote, "Digital technologies and their associated working practicesare having a profound impact on the global economy. Every business is in danger of being 'disrupted' by a digital competitor. This new threat is driving companies to invest in digital transformation programs that leverage advances in digital technology for competitive advantage."

Each of the digital transformation case studies was evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. Uniqueness: The provider's ability to help its clients think beyond the obvious in digital transformation and design the abstract.
  2. Complexity: Obtaining success while driving the design and delivery of complex digital solutions.
  3. Business Results Achieved: The ability of the provider to help its clients achieve impressive, objectively measured business results.
  4. Commitment to Client Success: The provider's commitment to the success of its clients, as demonstrated through flexibility, collaboration, effort, investments or commercial innovations.

After careful evaluation, ISG selected the 25 best case studies for its book. The service providers recognized in these case studies are (in alphabetical order): BRIDGEi2i Analytics Solutions, Capgemini, Cognizant, CSS Corp., Dimension Data, DXC Technology, EPAM Systems Inc., Fujitsu, Happiest Minds Technologies, HCL Technologies Ltd, Infosys Digital, KPIT, LTI, Magnet 360, Mphasis, NIIT Technologies, Ramco Systems, Softtek, Syntel, T-Systems, Unisys and Wipro Limited.
