Rivera has 25 years of experience working in healthcare policy, program development and operations, marketing, and community engagement for a variety of organizations serving unique cross sections of the community. He also has community advocacy experience as the former Director of Policy and Operations for the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California in Sacramento. He has participated as a board member on several not-for-profit organizations, including his current role as Vice-Chair for Latino Health Access in Santa Ana. Rivera earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University, Fresno and pursued a Master of Arts in Business Management from National University, La Jolla, Calif.
