Davis Polk Adds Private Funds Partner Michael S. HongDavis Polk today announced that Michael S. Hong has joined the firm as a partner in the Investment Management Group in New York, focusing on private equity fund formation. Mr. Hong comes to Davis Polk from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he was a partner in their Private Funds Group. He advises sophisticated private fund managers across all asset classes in their most complex, high-value transactions, including fund formation and ongoing investment-related advice. Mr. Hong also has extensive experience with sales, purchases and joint ventures involving alternative asset managers.
