Spectrum Gaming Group Advances Responsible-Gaming Program for Online, Sports Wagering


LINWOOD, N.J., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its longstanding commitment to promote best practices in gaming, Spectrum Gaming Group is partnering with Pieter Remmers to help the American gaming and lottery industries develop responsible-gaming practices that address the specific needs of online gaming and sports betting.

Responsible-gaming needs to be central to their plans," said Spectrum Managing Director Michael Pollock. Spectrum has performed advisry and consulting work for gaming operators, regulators and legislatures in 36 US states and territories and 47 countries on six continents. Spectrum also serves as the Executive Director for the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), an organization of lawmakers that shares the goal of promoting best practices.



Remmers has worked on responsible gaming policies and programs in the Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Singapore South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, among others, serving a host of governmental and private clients. He is a member of the Executive Committee and serves as Secretary General of the European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG,) and initiated G4 (Global Gambling Guidance Group), which deals with an International Accreditation System on responsible gaming for the gambling, betting and lottery industries, both land-based and online. At present, he is the Chair of the Board of G4.
