Brident Dental and Western Dental "Smiles for Schools" Sponsorship Program Grows to 130Brident Dental and its affiliate Western Dental & Orthodontics recently reached the 130th school partnership in its "Smiles for Schools" program, which provides oral health education and funding for intermediate and high schools. The Smiles for Schools sponsorship program will pair more than 240 offices of Brident Dental and Western Dental with neighboring schools throughout Texas, California, Arizona, and Nevada, where the company is a leader in accessible, affordable, high quality oral healthcare. The program started a year ago, and Brident Dental and Western Dental reached the initial goal of 100 schools within nine months. To date, more than $65,000 has been donated to school partners. Participating schools have deployed Smiles for Schools funding at their discretion in a variety of ways, including for field trip expenses, community service scholarships, and uniforms and equipment for sports teams.
