Apttus Strengthens Expanding Operations in India With New GMs, Head of Engineering

Leadership Additions Help Scale Product Development to Meet Growing Global Demand For Quote-to-Cash Leader's Revenue Generation And Contract Management Solutions

SAN MATEO, California, Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Apttus, the global leader in Quote-to-Cash and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions utilizing artificial intelligence, announced the addition of Ashish M. Shah as general manager and Nikesh Jain as head of engineering to its expanding India operations. Additionally, the company has promoted Jesal Mehta to a global role as general manager, Contract Lifecycle Management.

As general manager of Apttus' India Operations, Ashish M. Shah will lead day-to-day functions of Apttus India while supportin strategic initiatives as a member of the corporate executive team. Shah brings more than 25 years of international experience in the technology industry. He joins Apttus from NextGen Healthcare, where he spent the past six years as managing director based in Bangalore, leading the company's international expansion from the ground up. Previously, Shah spent 21 years at General Electric, rising to general manager.

As Apttus India's regional engineering lead, Jain brings more than 20 years of experience in building and developing scalable, complex software platforms at high-growth technology companies. Before joining Apttus, Jain was vice president of engineering at Icertis, an enterprise contract management provider. Previously, he served as director of engineering at Ariba Technologies (a SAP company). Jain has held engineering roles at Yahoo!, AOL and Oracle.

Mehta has unique experience establishing and managing offshore development centers. Since joining Apttus six years ago, he has grown the company's India presence into a 450-employee operation spanning three cities, supporting sales engineering, professional services, engineering and product development. In his new position, Mehta will manage Apttus' core CLM product globally.
