605 Names Daniel Berg Chief Technology Officer

605, an advanced data and analytics company focused on the media and entertainment industries, today announced the appointment of Daniel Berg as Chief Technology Officer at 605. Berg, the first to assume this post, is an accomplished senior IT leader who brings deep expertise in technology business strategy, product and application development and enterprise-class IT process, data security and service delivery to his role at the company. In his position at 605, he will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the ongoing development of technical infrastructure to ingest, warehouse, organize and interact with vast amounts of consumer behavioral data. He will report into Co-Founder and CEO, Kristin Dolan. Berg will also oversee internal IT, cyber security and other key elements of 605's product sets.

"I am confident Dan's deep expertise in business strategy, combined with his track record of success in bringing technology services and products from concept to deployment, are exactly what we need to move 605 forward and continue to grow our business," said Kristin Dolan, founder and CEO of 605. "As a business and technology leader, Dan is adept at aligning technology teams and deliverables with business and revenue goals. His background in financial services technology with its deep foundation in enterprise IT process, data security, data management, analysis and aggregation - as well as his understanding of operations, marketing and business development - will make him a valuable addition to our team."

"Working with the 605 team to build out the long and short-term infrastucture of this new business is an incredible opportunity," added Berg. "I'm excited to join a talented and entrepreneurial team with deep industry experience as we strive to improve audience measurement and television analytics, a critical need for media and entertainment businesses in today's rapidly changing viewing landscape."

Prior to joining 605, Berg most recently served as an independent strategic technology consultant, working with various clients in the financial technology, legal technology and advisory services markets. He has previously held a variety of senior management positions at technology companies such as Rockit Solutions, formerly a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rockefeller & Co., Inc., and First Reserve Corporation, LLC, a leading energy industry investment firm, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer, respectively.

Berg is a holder of two software patents, is a member of the Society for Information Management - Fairfield / Westchester Chapter, and is an active participant and presenter at the UConn Stamford Financial Technology Forum. He was a member of the Microsoft (News - Alert) CIO Advisory Council from 2014 to 2015.

605 focuses on the simplification of complex data, using an optimizer to deliver deeper and more certain business insights to clients in the media and entertainment industries. 605 performs sales conversion and attribution analysis for clients' television advertising campaigns-directly linking purchase activity to television ad exposure at the household level.
