Community Bank Spreads Assistance in Community for the Holidays

Community Bank employees volunteered at Union Station Homeless Services last Monday, December 4th, serving lunch to more than 30 people.

The bagged lunch included a sandwich, chips, an orange, cookies, a granola bar, and a bottled water, all served on the patio at the nonprofit organization's Adult Center.

Union Station Homeless Services helps individuals and families identify the causes that led to their homelessness and provide the tools and resources they need to end their cycle of homelessness. The Adult Center provides transitional housing, meals, case management, and life skills.

"The holidays serve as an important time of year to remind ourselves to continue to give back to the community, with both time and resources. It's a reset going into the New Year, lifting others up around us. We look forward to offering our assistance in the community throughout 2018," said David Misch, CEO of Community Bank.

In addition to volunteering, Community Bank made a monetary donation to Union Station Homeless Services.

As part of CommunityBank's Holiday Team Giving initiative, employees will also be volunteering at Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, Society of Saint Vincent De Paul, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, Foothill Family Shelter, and Family Service Association of Redlands.
