BlackRidge Technology Extends Cyber Defense Solution with New Software Release to Establish End-to-End Trust in Business ServicesRENO, Nev., Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BlackRidge Technology International, Inc. (OTCQB: BRTI), a leading provider of next generation cyber defense solutions, today announced the beta availability of its new product release, bringing new adaptive cyber defense capabilities that extend BlackRidge's patented First Packet Authentication™ to software endpoints and supports a preventive and adaptive security solution to defend against today's advanced and evolving threats. "Today's fully connected business requires an adaptive approach to cyber defense, which must include the ability to enforce trust end-to-end across key business systems and services, no matter where they are located," said Bob Graham, BlackRidge CEO. "Our new product release with software endpoints extends our breakthrough technology to supports today's dynamic and evolving IT, critical infrastructure and industrial control systems." The addition of software endpoints to the BlackRidge cyber defense solution extends a strong trust model, based on identity, end-to-end across network and cloud boundaries. BlackRidge Transport Access Control provides in-line and real-time blocking to eliminate unidentified and unauthorized traffic from networks at the earliest possible time, on the first packet of a network connection request. This also provides attribution events for cybe-attacks and unauthorized insider access to SIEM and Analytics systems, which can use the new BlackRidge Trust Level APIs to dynamically change user and device trust levels and security policies. BlackRidge has begun a beta test program for the new software that includes customers and partners including Marist College, National Renewal Energy Lab, and Nihon Cornet Technology K.K. The testing includes validating the endpoint functionality in multiple IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments, validating business requirements for protecting blockchain networks, and demonstrating how to automate cyber defenses with feedback loops to adjust trust levels in response to threats. "We are pleased to extend our cybersecurity research partnership with BlackRidge Technology to include testing BlackRidge's new software release for protecting Hyperledger Blockchain networks, as well as a number of other enterprise applications," said Bill Thirsk, Vice President of Information Technology and CIO at Marist College. "The new Windows-based BlackRidge software endpoints will allow individual users to securely connect to BlackRidge protected enterprise applications from local and remote desktops and laptops."
