CSI Gives Back More Than $160K to Its Community through Annual United Way Campaign

Understanding the importance of giving back to local communities, Computer Services, Inc. (CSI (News - Alert)) (OTCQX:CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions and other businesses to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, contributed more than $160,000 to the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County through its annual campaign. This is CSI's seventh consecutive year to raise more than $100,000 for the Paducah-area United Way, which focuses on education, income and health initiatives.

"It may sound cliché to say we couldn't accomplish what we do at the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County without CSI, but in all sincerity, that statement is the absolute truth," said Betsy Burkeen, executive director of the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County. "The leadership at CSI has built a culture of giving back that becomes apparent through the generous giving and volunteerism of the company and its employees, helping to greatly improve education, income and health in our local community. CSI has remained our top supporter for multiple years, and we are so appreciative of CSI and its employees."

This year's campaign marked increases in several key metrics, including total dollars raised, number of employee participants and average gift per donor. CSI not only provided financial support through its campaign but also encouraged employee participation in United Way community events. For instance, 55 employees volunteered for Project United, 20 participated in a 5K benefiting United Way agencies, and 15 served as weekly Reading Pals for local elementary and middle school children. Through its participation in this year's campaign, CSI supported the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County in improving the lives of nearly 7,200 people.

"At CSI, our culture is founded on the ideals of building relationships and serving others, and our employees embody that spirit through their willingness to give their resources, time and talents back to the community," said Steve Powless, CSI's chairman and CEO. "We are honored to support the efforts of the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County, as they seek to strengthen our community by improving access to education, income and health resources for those most in need."
