The 18-month program begins with a seven-day retreat, initiating students into the Warrior PATHH program at one of Boulder Crest's two facilities -- Boulder Crest Retreat Virginia and Boulder Crest Retreat Arizona. "We should never stop asking how we can make re-entry easier for our Veterans," said Matt Tait, who leads Accenture's work with federal defense and national security clients. "Addressing the challenges of post-traumatic stress is critical for our Veteran nonprofit partners and the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are honored to play a role in scaling this transformative approach digitally that facilitates growth following traumatic experiences." The AFS-developed application, known as MY PATHH, will enable veterans to remotely access training and suport from anywhere in the world following their on-site treatment at one of the Boulder Crest facilities. The app enables veterans to set goals, visualize and track progress, practice mindfulness and stay accountable as they forge a path towards a more stable and fulfilling life. The app is part of Accenture's culture of service and ongoing commitment to advance vital Veterans programs through skill-based volunteer work. "Accenture is a valued member of the Boulder Crest team and generously shares the time and talent of skills-based volunteers to support community events and corporate volunteer days at Boulder Crest Retreat Virginia," said Ken Falke, chairman and founder of Boulder Crest. "Accenture's commitment to MY PATHH shows that these first activities are just the beginning of great things to come. MY PATHH will deliver the equivalent of three years of therapy. It is a critical part of our effort to transform those experiencing post-traumatic stress. Together with Accenture, we are working to ensure that our nation's combat veterans can live the lives they deserve - full of passion, purpose, and service - following their service to our country."
