Gómez, who opened Univision's Washington government relations office and PAC, is credited for elevating its relations and influence in the political, policy, and third-party outreach arenas. Before joining Univision in 2007, he spent over 20 years in varied corporate functions with RJR Nabisco, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and Dow Chemical Company. "After 32 years in Corporate America and 25 of those as a corporate lobbyist, including the past 10 and a half years at Univision Communications Inc., I am excited to enter a new era and apply all my knowledge and capabilities to advance our clients' interests at the prestigious firm of Becker & Poliakoff," Gómez said.
