Robert Birge has advised consumerstart-up companies on business strategy for the past two years. He previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Kayak, where he created the company's global marketing function. During his tenure, the company's growth significantly accelerated and Kayak became a household brand in the US and Europe. Birge's earlier career includes global advertising agency TBWA\Chiat\Day, sports and entertainment company IMG, and The Boston Consulting Group where he also helped create the online travel agency Orbitz.
