SentryOne Names Bob Potter New Chief Executive OfficerCHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Charlotte-based SentryOne announced today the appointment of Bob Potter to be the Company's Chief Executive Officer. Potter, who has an extensive background in scaling tech firms, succeeds Greg Gonzalez, company founder who will move into a new role of Chief Technology Officer for SentryOne. Potter most recently has been part of the operating team with San Francisco based Alpine Investors. Prior to joining Alpine, he held senior executive roles with leading business intelligence, analytics and data management software companies including Rocket Software, Kalido Corporation, QlikTech International AB and Expressor Software. He was Executive Vice President of IONA Technologies where he engineered growth of the copany into a $180M global enterprise, and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services at Object Design, Inc., where he grew sales from less than $1M to $60M, earning the Inc. 500 award as the fastest growing company in the USA. He has served as a consultant to SentryOne for the past six months and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions.
