Unisys to Manage Critical Immigration Systems Used to Protect Australia's Borders and Facilitate Flow of Legitimate Travelers and FreightSYDNEY and BLUE BELL, Pa., Oct. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has signed a three-year contract for managed end-user computing and infrastructure support services for DIBP staff globally. The engagement has a potential value of up to AU$77.7 million (approximately US$60.4 million). Under the contract extension, Unisys will continue to provide managed service desk and end-user computing services to DIBP through June 2021. The contract includes 24x7, first level service desk support for all immigration systems and infrastructure support for the Department's mid-range equipment. "International airlines, freight companies and travel agents all need to interact with DIPB's immigration systems, and the combination of Unisys' domain knowledge, technology and experience delivers the seamless electronic process they expect.
