Universal-mCloud and TELUS Sign Multi-year Reseller Agreement

Company's first large scale partnership to target the building HVAC sector

VANCOUVER, Oct. 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Universal-mCloud Corp (TSX-V: MCLD) ("mCloud") has signed a Reseller Agreement for TELUS to deliver AssetCare™ to the Canadian market, targeting buildings with critical heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) requirements. The offering combines the leading capabilities of TELUS IoT connectivity with the deep domain asset expertise of mCloud in a connected cloud solution with 24/7 vigilance that improves the health and performance of the connected assets. This is offered on a subscription basis costing a fraction of the resulting benefits.

According to published data for 2014, in Canada there were 482,000 Comercial Buildings with over 800 sq. meters of floor space consuming 911 gigajoules of energy. These represent a very large market opportunity for mCloud and TELUS.

mCloud's AssetCare solution incorporates big data, deep analytics, machine learning, real-time collaboration and communications, 3D Augmented Reality (AR), best practice maintenance support and much more. At its simplest and most fndamental, it monitors the performance of HVAC units.
