OncLive® Presents State of the Science Summit™: Advanced Renal Cell and Bladder Cancer


OncLive®a leading digital provider of resources and information for oncology professionals, announces the latest State of the Science Summit: Advanced Renal Cell and Bladder Cancer, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing, in Pennsylvania. The program will feature distinguished speakers from the field of oncology and be chaired by Elizabeth Plimack, M.D., M.S., an associate professor of hematology/oncology and chief of the Division of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, an affiliate of Temple Health, as well as Robert G. Uzzo, M.D., FACS., chair of the department of surgical oncology and president of Fox Chase Cancer Center Medical Group Inc.

This educational event will highlight some of the most pressing issues faced by oncologists and other medical experts when dealing with advanced renal cell and bladder cancer. The summit will discuss critical topics such as adjuvant renal cell carcinoma, metastatic kidney cancer, novel immunotherapy approaches for renal cell carcinoma and management of localized bladder cancer. Featured speakers from leading Philadelphia-area institutions will include:

- Daniel Geynisman, M.D.: assistant professor of hematology/oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center

p> - Naomi Haas, M.D.: director of the Prostate and Kidney Cancer Program and associate professor of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania



- Jean Hoffman (News - Alert)-Censits, M.D.: physician, assistant professor and director of the Multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Center at Jefferson University Hospitals

- Matthew Zibelman, M.D.: assistant professor of hematology/oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center


State of the Science Summit is a premier conference series hosted by OncLive® with medical experts from across the nation.
