Hawaii's User-Centered Redesign of Annual Filing Website Wins Government Standard of Excellence AwardThe Business Registration Division, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, of the state of Hawaii is honored to receive the Government Standard of Excellence Award from the Web Marketing Association for its Annual Business Filing service. Business owners in the state of Hawaii are required to file an annual report to stay in compliance with state laws. Originally launched in 2001, the annual filing online service was completely redesigned in December 2016 to incorporate new functionality and address requests from the site's users. Major upgrades included adding the ability to submit multiple annual reports with a single payment as well as incorporating User-Centered Design (UCD) to improve usability.
