BioNJ's Patient Advocacy Summit: Educate. Engage. Empower.

BioNJ's 2nd Annual Patient Advocacy Summit is slated for Wednesday, November 8, at Celgene Corporation, Summit, NJ. The full-day event will bring together New Jersey's patient advocacy community with industry and government for a day of Education, Engagement and Empowerment. Attendees will participate in in-depth discussions and hear from thought leaders on how to effectively impact the advancement of therapies and cures, have your voice heard and become a more successful advocate.

"Because Patients Can't Wait®, BioNJ is thrilled to host our 2nd Annual Patient Advocacy Summit," said BioNJ President and CEO Debbie Hart. "The program was developed to provide a forum where patient advocates can gain valuable tools and insights, share best practices and meet key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem."

"The opportunity to hear well-informed speakers and to have the chance to interact with them and audience members one-on-one afterwards had tremendous benefit to me as a patient advocate," said Bob Tufts, Founder of My Life is Worth It, about last year's Patient Advocacy Summit.

"BioNJ's Patient Advocacy Summit was very informative and offered me the opportunity to make valuable connections," shared Lisa Schill, Vice President, RASopathies Network USA. "We all left empowered and armed with new tools to help us move our causes forward and have our voices heard. I'm looking forward to this year's agenda focused on critical topics."

The full-day roster will include interactive sessions on "Clinical Trial Protocol and Patient Involvement," "Becoming a Stronger Advocate: Tackling Pro-Patient Issues" and "Bringing a New Innovative Medicine to Market." The schedule also features a Networking Breakfast and Lunch. Attendees will leave inspired and ready to make a difference.
