Colonel Michael Arnold (Ret) Joins Savantage Solutions as Vice President of Business Strategy

ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Lisa Kazor, CEO and President of Savantage Solutions, announced today that Colonel Michael Arnold (Ret) has joined Savantage as a Vice President of Business Strategy. He will serve as the Senior Executive in charge of Savantage work at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), supporting strategic initiatives for the company in the areas of business development and client service delivery.

Prior to joining Savantage, Colonel Arnold (Ret) served as the Army National Account Manager at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and has had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army spanning two decades. During his career, he served overseas in logistics leadership positions including Korea, Kuwait, Egypt, and Iraq. He previously served as the assistant chief of staff for logistics for the 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of Korea, providing sustainment support for three separate Brigades and over 10,000 troops. Colonel Arnold (Ret) was commissioned from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 as a Transportation Corps Officer and Distinguished Military Graduate. He holds a master's degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School f Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a second master's degree in Military Arts and Sciences from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He also represented the US Army as a National Security Affairs Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University for the academic year of 2014-2015.

As a Prime contractor on the unrestricted track, Savantage competes for task orders to support technology service requirements across the DLA Information Operations Enterprise, and program offices, in all 21 task areas.
