Ned Carlson Appointed CEO of Trumpet Behavioral Health


Trumpet Behavioral Health, LLC announced today that it has appointed Ned Carlson as Chief Executive Officer. Trumpet is a leading provider of behavioral health services, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum (News - Alert) Disorder ("ASD") and developmental disabilities, using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis ("ABA"). Trumpet's ABA therapy is delivered by therapists under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The Company currently has over 950 team members, providing therapy in over 25 locations across eight states.

MTS (News - Alert) Health Investors, LLC, ("MTS"), the New York-based healthcare private equity firm, acquired Trumpet Behavioral Health, LLC in March, 2017.

Prior to joining Trumpet, Mr. Carlson was President of GlobalCare, Inc., an Atlanta-based technology-enabled service business providing intelligent claims routing, re-pricing optimization, cost containment and data analysis to healthcare payers. Previously, he was a founding member and Managing Director at Dawntreader Ventures where he served as an investor and advisor to high growth businesses in the software and technology-enabled service markets. Mr. Carlson received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government from Harvard University.
