The Wireless Power Summit 2017 Calls for Papers for New "Startup Power Hour" Program

Smithers Apex (News - Alert), the organizers of the Wireless Power Summit 2017, invite Colorado-based wireless and mobile startups to submit abstracts for this year's hour-long "Startup Power Hour" taking place at the Wireless Power Summit on October 6, 2017 in downtown Denver.

The Power Hour is seeking startups that are creating wireless charging solutions or developing products that will work with and/or support wireless charging solutions. Each startup participating will get to present to and network with wireless power influencers from around the world including National Instruments, TDK, MediaTek (News - Alert), NuCurrent, NXP, WiTricity and more. Presentations will be approximately 15 minutes in length and should focus on the startup's product or solution and views on the market. Presenters are encouraged to include a demo if one is available.

"As the wireless power industry continues to grow, we are excited to bring our inaugural Startup Power Hour to this year's 9th annual Wireless Power Summit, giving wireless charging startups the opportunity to be front and cnter before many of the key players in the industry," said Kimberlee Rohrer, Head of Production-Americas, Smithers Apex.

To qualify, companies must have been established within the last two-to-three years, have a recently launched product, or one currently in the works (with debut scheduled within the next six months). Applications are due by Friday, August 25, 2017. Selected speakers will be notified by Thursday, August 31.

Startups interested in presenting should visit www.wirelesspowersummit.com to submit their abstracts. Additional questions may be directed towards Kimberlee Rohrer, Head of Conference Production-Americas, via email at [email protected] or phone, +1 (330) 762-7441 ext.1143.
