Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles Unveils a Stunning, Innovative Website

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announces the newly launched clean, efficient, visually stunning and mobile-responsive DMV website. Easy to navigate, with highly scrutinized content organization, the DMV website is easier than ever for businesses and citizens to interact with the state agency and reach the services they need.

"Collaborating with Nebraska Interactive was a crucial part of the success to redesign the website focusing specifically on the information architecture. The goal was to produce a streamlined user experience where citizens and businesses alike can easily locate services, data, forms, administration information, branch locations, and more. This was months of teamwork, iterations, and commitment. We couldn't have done it without them. In the end, it's all about rolling out the new website to better serve our customers," says Rhonda Lahm, Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The homepage features two primary areas designated by the user's objective. Individuals will find driver's license and vehicle information, license plate, suspensions and title registration, and more without searching further than one link away. By choosing the Business area, driver and vehicle records, driver safety and training, motor carrier and county treasurers information can be found instantly.

Need to pay a traffic ticket? Choose the link. Order a driving record? Choose the link. Want reminders for vehicle and renewals? Choose the link. Not sure what to choose? The new Help section has launched with approxiately 30 commonly asked questions and a search box allows input for all users' needs.

"This was a year long effort with a state-sized load of content to organize, rethink and redesign. Commitment, more than anything, was the factor that could not be compromised. Hard work by our team and the DMV was unwavering. We are ecstatic with the outcome and very proud to be part of the effort," said Brent Hoffman (News - Alert), GM of Nebraska Interactive.
