Laurel Bridge Introduces Ability to Search Across Multiple Clinical ArchivesNEWARK, Del., Aug 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Laurel Bridge Software, a provider of enterprise medical imaging workflow solutions, has released an upgrade to their Compass™ - Routing Workflow Manager to enable one-click search of a patient's entire imaging record across any number of disparate clinical archives, VNAs, or PACSs. Query spanning and results filtering now enables healthcare systems to unify access to multiple clinical archives, including multiple modality worklists (MWLs). This provides federated identification of all available imaging studies for a given patient or scheduled procedures for a given modality and can also include integration with a Patient Identity Cross-Reference (PIX) or Master Patient Index (MPI). The results from such a federated query can be automatically filtered according to user-defined criteria, such as, study age, modality type, or body part and may then be delivered to the initiator of the request with duplicates removed. This integrated workflow enables 3rd party enterprise wrklists, viewers, and EMRs to more effectively support the enterprise imaging needs of their clinical users. This latest software release also includes improvements to system security, scalability, performance, and ease-of-use:
Integrating Compass with the Navigator™ - Imaging Retrieval Workflow Manager from Laurel Bridge, enables organizations to solve very complex enterprise imaging workflow problems, such as retrieving and normalizing imaging studies from multiple facilities, PACS, or VNA systems.
