NAVSEA Awards CSRA $59 Million Order to Support Navy Ships


FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded CSRA LLC, a subsidiary of CSRA Inc. (NYSE:CSRA) a $59 million task order in support of its Research and Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05). The Task Order has a one-year base period and four one-year options.

NAVSEA is the largest of the Navy's five system commands. For more than 220 years, NAVSEA and its predecessor organizations have been responsible for the design, construction, delivery, maintenance, and disposal of ships and ship systems for America's Navy. It is tasked with engineering, building, buying and maintaining ships, submarines, and combat systems.

The $59 million task order will allow CSRA to continue providing Engineering Support Services (ESS) for NAVSEA's mission of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining the Navy's ships, including: amphibious, auxiliary, and fleet support ships and systems.

CSR provides engineering support services to NAVSEA in many ways, including:



  • Design Engineering, Integration Engineering, and Engineering Analysis Support
  • Program Management Support
  • Engineering Management Support
  • Technical Study Support
  • Technical Library Management Support
  • On-Site Support (Engineering Support and Test, Trials, Evaluation and Logistics Analysis Support)
  • Design Site Support
