Matthew McFadden to Lead CSRA Cyber Services

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CSRA Inc. (NYSE:CSRA) announced today that Dr. Matthew McFadden has been promoted to serve as CSRA's Cybersecurity Service Area Director within the Digital Consulting Group.

In his role as Cybersecurity Service Area Director, Dr. McFadden will apply his years of experience and thought leadership to showcase CSRA's extensive cybersecurity qualifications.

Most recently, Dr. McFadden served as Chief Technologist for the Defense Innovation Cell, which provides expertise and innovation to customers in the Department of Defense. There, he supported CSRA's Defense Cyber Crime Center's (DC3) Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) program for the past nine years.

Prior to his tenure at CSRA, Dr. McFadden suppored the company's legacy cyber practice with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Distinguished Engineer in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. He also was the team captain of CSRA's winning Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition teams (2016 and 2017).

Dr. McFadden holds undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona and received his Doctorate of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University. He is also a published author, presenter, and researcher, and holds numerous industry IT certifications. As a technical cyber subject-matter expert, he has developed advanced cyber solutions for federal and defense clients while remaining focused on improving CSRA's cyber capabilities.
