Photon Control Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

RICHMOND, BC, July 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Photon Control Inc. ("Photon Control" or the "Company") (TSX-V: PHO), a leading developer of optical measurement technologies, announced today that it has promoted Daniel Lee, VP Finance to the role of Chief Financial Officer effective July 15, 2017.

"Daniel, who has served as our VP Finance since April 2017, is an accomplished executive who has a depth of public company reporting, management control and business analysis experience, as well as having participated in a number of M&A transactions in the past." said Photon Control's CEO Scott Edmonds. "Daniel has significantly improved the financial management and reporting of the Company in a very short time and this, combined with his relevant prior experience, impressed the Board and I, and led to our conclusion that he is well qualified to take on the larger role of Chief Financial Officer."

Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from SFU and was formerly the Director of Finance at BSM Technologies prior to which he held finance roles with Webtech Wireless and The Internet Market Center after qualifying as a CPA, CA with D&H Group LLP in Vancouver.
