eSystems, Inc. Completes First Implementation of IBM Watson Health Social Program Management Platform (V7.0)

PRINCETON, N.J., June 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- eSystems, Inc., a leading provider of business and IT services, has successfully completed the first implementation of the newest version of IBM's Watson Health Social Program Management (SPM) solution at Arkansas Department of Human Services (AR DHS). This upgrade to Arkansas's Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment Framework (EEF) went live on Monday, May 15, 2017 and was immediately available to the state's case workers in all 75 counties.

eSystems has been a premier vendor partner to Arkansas DHS for over four years, having installed their first IBM SPM solution, along with helping them overcome a huge Medicaid application and casework backlog. This upgraded system increases efficiency by streamlining workflow, making workers more productive and able to provide needed assistance to citizens much more quickly.

The new user-centric design of the IBM offering provides easier navigation and reduces the steps needed to process applications, while an enhanced eligibility viewer enables better management of social support programs.

In addition to new functionality in the IBM solution, eSystems has implemented value-added enhancements, such as automation functions to reduce the workload of incoming applications. eSystems has also enhanced te "Person Match" logic which reduces improper payments due to fraud or error. Automated regression testing of the system functionality was another added improvement.

Clients with earlier versions of the IBM SPM solution can obtain information on how to upgrade to the new release by contacting us at: [email protected], or by calling our corporate headquarters at 609-945-7437.
