Somos, Inc. Announces The Appointment Of Michael Day To Its Board Of Directors

HERNDON, Va., June 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Somos, Inc., the leading provider of neutral Toll-Free numbering and database administration services for the telecommunications industry, today announced that it will be appointing Michael Day to its Board of Directors.

Michael Day serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee at both Recology Inc., and Topa Insurance Group. He also served on the board of AAA Life Insurance Company for eight years. More recently, Day served as Chief Financial Officer of CSAA, a major provider of AAA-branded insurance and one of the top 20 personal lines property and casualty insurance groups in the United States.

Day's Career began with Deloitte and Touche in the audit department. He left Deloitte and Touche as an Audit Senior Manager. He has worked with a number of companies including MTV Networks, as Senior Vice President of corporate and international finance; Africast, as a Financial Consultant; and The Walt Disney Company, as Director of Corporate Financial Reporting.

Mr. Day was awarded the 2010 CFO of the year award from the San Francisco Business Times. He holds a BBA in accounting from Baruch College and an MBA in finance from Columbia University.
