Expanding the HDBaseT Network with Ethernet/IP
ORLANDO, Fla., June 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- At InfoComm International 2017, the HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry group tasked with promoting and advancing the HDBaseT standard, will be showcasing the first HDBaseT-IP solutions in the market, introduced by Alliance members Aurora and SILORA R&D, at the HDBaseT World (Booth 3761). HDBaseT-IP is an expansion of the existing HDBaseT standard, enabling the distribution of the well-established HDBaseT 5Play feature set over an Ethernet/IP network. HDBaseT-IP transforms the way audio, video and controls are distributed, optimizing hybrid installations both within a room as well as cross-campus. Aurora Multimedia will debut its IPBaseT® HTX-TC1 with HDBaseT-IP solution, which combines HDBaseT, HDBaseT-IP and IPBaseT® allowing full two-way 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDR on a single 10G port. The new solution incorporates different technologies to create a seamless operation for the ultimate user experience. It brings the lowest 10G Ethernet switch port, due to its ability to transmit and receive full bandwidth in both directions on a single port. HDBaseT connectivity allows backward compatibility with existing systems and works with Aurora's new 18Gbps HDBaseT products SILORA R&D is showcasing IP Vision, a comprehensive KVM/AV over IP management platform, now integrating HDBaseT-IP technology. This advanced management interface monitors and controls end units in real-time and enables setting up a virtual matrix in multicast and unicast modes with preconfigured presets for addressing changing scenarios automatically. The IP Vision management platform allows a hybrid, versatile and scalable installation and provides a variety of features that until now required additional hardware or software. "HDBaseT brings a gamut of possibilities for vendors and installers. Whether it is an in-room or cross-campus installation, whether visually lossless compression is necessary, whether copper or fiber is the infrastructure of choice, HDBaseT delivers. Our goal is to provide the flexibility necessary to attend to today's market demands, in a cost-effective and simple manner." "Aurora is at the forefront of innovation as the AV world continuesto evolve. The IPBaseT® HTX-TC1 is the most complete solution in the market today, increasing capabilities while reducing costs. It supports backward compatibility with existing systems and works well with Aurora's new 18G HDBaseT offerings." "SILORA R&D is the first to integrate HDBaseT-IP into an IP management platform, simplifying and optimizing management and control of AV networks. We continue to expand the options available to AV equipment OEMs, installers and integrators, while guaranteeing the performance necessary over the most cost-effective infrastructure." Both Aurora and SILORA R&D solutions will be showcased at the HDBaseT Alliance Stand (3761) at InfoComm International 2017, June 14-16, 2017.
