Freedom Mobile Expands New LTE Network to Calgary and Edmonton

TORONTO, May 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Freedom Mobile today announced the expansion of its powerful new LTE network in Calgary and Edmonton, giving people in both cities access to faster data speeds, smoother streaming and faster downloading.

Calgarians and Edmontonians looking to access Freedom Mobile's LTE network can do so by choosing from a range of LTE-ready handsets, including the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Those looking to switch to LTE can also join one of Freedom Mobile's data plans, which start for as low as $30 per month.

Having first launched its LTE network in Toronto and Vancouver, and surrounding areas in November 2016, Freedom Mobile will continue forward with planned updates for a complete LTE rollout by the end of 2017.
