Airbnb, Cisco, Toyota and Microsoft to Speak at CTA's New American Job Summit
On Wednesday, May 3, Chris Lehane, head of global policy and public
affairs, Airbnb;
Roy Skillicorn, senior director, Cisco
Services Academy; Robert Chiappetta, director, government affairs, Toyota
Motor North America and Bill Kamela, director, workforce policy, Microsoft
Corp. will join policymakers and industry leaders at the Consumer
Technology Association's (CTA) New
American Job Summit. Panelists - including Reps. Virginia Foxx
(R-NC) Darrell Issa (R-CA (News - Alert)) and Seth Moulton (D-MA) - will highlight
policies and initiatives needed to address the future of work in the
United States.
CTA also will unveil new research at the Summit exploring tech industry
leaders' thoughts on current and future workforce challenges. Topline
findings show 86 percent of tech leaders will need more employees with
technical skills.
