CenturyLink program recycles more than 12 million poundsMONROE, La., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) today announced that it recycled more than 12 million pounds in 2016. Its recycling sites collected, securely shredded and recycled more than three million pounds of paper – saving the equivalent of almost 25,000 trees. In addition to paper, CenturyLink recycled approximately nine million pounds of a wide range of materials, including metal reels, copper-based materials, precious metals and electronics.
