Razberi Wins SSI's 2017 MVP Award for Video Surveillance

Security Sales & Integration (SSI) honored Razberi Technologies with its Most Valuable Product (MVP) Award for Video Surveillance at a ceremony held last evening during ISC West. Razberi won for its ServerSwitchIQ™ appliance, which enables integrators to deliver higher quality, secure video with fewer capital, bandwidth, and space requirements as well as offer their end customers health and cybersecurity monitoring.

"It's overwhelming for security integrators to keep up with the thousands of products introduced annually," said SSI Editor-in-Chief/Associate Publisher Scott Goldfine in a statement. "SSI's MVP Awards provides integrators the valuable service of distinguishing particularly noteworthy new products, and salutes the manufacturers responsible for them. Both factions benefit by having entries evaluated by independent security integrators and industry consultants."

The MVP Awards recognize products that make a substantial impact on integrators and were judged on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, benefits to the installer or monitoring provider, and benefits to the end user.

The Razberi ServerSwitchIQ uniquely integrates a network firewall, managed Ethernet switch, server, high throughput storage, and intelligence for reliable, secure video recording. Deployed near the network's edge closer to cameras, the appliances allow organizations to avoid continuous video streaming over corporate IP networks, reducing megapixel video impact by up to 95 percent. This lets organizations capitalize on their megapixel camera investments and achieve higher quality video that is accessible on demand.

In addition, built-in health monitoring and cybersecurity software enables 24x7 oversight of the entire video ecosystem to lower the risk of downtime, lost video, and cyber attacks. Razberi just announced CameraDefense, new cybersecurity software to protect IP cameras and corporate networks from cyber threats. These capabilities also provide integrators the opportunity to offer customers a monitoring service for recurring revenue.

"It is gratifying for SSI to recognize the Razberi ServerSwitchIQ for its innovative approach to video surveillance," said Tom Galvin, Razberi CEO. "Our platform gives integrators a better alternative to generic servers and switches that are not built for the job and leave cameras exposed to hackers."
