Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP Commences Investigation on Behalf of TransDigm Group Incorporated Investors


Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP ("GPM") is investigating potential claims on behalf of investors of TransDigm Group Incorporated ("TransDigm" or the "Company") (NYSE: TDG) concerning the Company and its officers' possible violations of federal securities laws.

On January 20, 2017, Citron Research published an article claiming that TransDigm is the Valeant of the aerospace industry. Specifically, Citron alleged that the Company's business model relies on acquiring airplane parts companies, firing employees, and egregiously raising prices. Then, on March 21, 2017, California Representative Ro Khanna sent a letter to the Defense Department Inspector General asking for an investigation into the business practices of TransDigm, claiming that the Company appears to be evading certain pricing and cost disclosure regulations. On this news, the Company's share price declined by more than 5%, thereby injuring investors.
