NEACH 2017 Payments Management Conference to focus on The Future of Payments

NEACH, the New England Automated Clearing House Association, today announced the agenda and speakers for the 2017 Payment Management Conference, to be held May 10th and 11th at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center.

This year's conference theme, Meet, Learn, Exchange - The Future of Payments will be examined in four distinct learning tracks: Compliance, Faster Payments, Operations & Quality, and Risk & Fraud. Each track will consist of five concurrent sessions focusing on the most critical aspects of what's taking place today, the outlook for the future, and why this is important to financial institutions and payments stakeholders.

Compliance sessions will focus on understanding new rules and regulations and implementing solutions to effectively address these challenges as we look to the future of payments. Attendees will explore the rule changes, new guidance's and compliance challenges that their team encounters on a continuous basis.

Faster Payments sessions will concentrate on the initiatives, developments, challenges and opportunities of faster payments. Attendees will gain an understanding of what faster payments means to their organization now and in the near future. Those financial institutions without a strategy for faster payments can really benefit by attending.

Operations & Quality sessions will cover the latest innovative processes in ACH, ACH obstacles and how to overcome them, and the tools attendees will need to position their organization for unparalleled success both today and in the future of payments.

Risk & Fraud sessions will cover the latest trends in fraud and provide focused strategies and real world solutions to complex payment system risk challenges. Financial institutions attending sessions in this track will come away with a very real understanding that technology alone is not the solution. To get where financial institutions need to be in the fight against fraud their employees must understand as much as the fraudsters.

Other conference highpoints include general session panel discussions, a recognition breakfast for Accredited ACH Professionals (AAPs) and National Check Professionals (NCPs), and a reception with exhibitors. The May 11th General Session Breakfast will feature, Same Day ACH Phase 2: Get Ready for Debits, consisting of high-level industry experts: Jane Larimer, EVP, ACH Network Administration, NACHA; Timothy Mills, AAP, Vice President, The Clearing House; and Wendy Radford, AAP, Product Development Liaison, Strategic Business Relations and Outreach & International Development, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

There will also be dedicated time during the conference to spend with exhibitors and sponsors: ACH Alert, COCC, Computershare, ECCHO, The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Federal Reserve Bank Financial Services, NACHA, NEACH Payments Group, ProfitStars and Shoreline a Gemalto (News - Alert) Company.

"It is more important than ever to provide our members with the highest level of payments education," said Sean Carter, AAP, NCP, President & CEO of NEACH. "We are driven to continue to develop and grow this event so that our members can get the information and solutions they need to meet the challenges of an ever-changing payments industry. This change will occur whether our members are ready or not and we feel that events like this will prepare the membership for what is next."
