CAILabs' Aroona Honored by 2017 Lightwave Innovation Reviews Program at OFCAt the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC) in Los Angeles, CAILabs will exhibit its solution Aroona for multimode fiber network upgrades at booth #3746. The solution was recognized with a high score in 2017 Lightwave Innovation Reviews Program, and will receive its award at OFC. CAILabs, a French start-up dedicated to bringing innovative photonics solution to increase the capacity of optical fibers, will exhibit at OFC, the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, from March 21th to 23th. During the show, on the booth #3746, CAILabs will showcase the solution Aroona, which was recognized by the 2017 Lightwave Innovation Reviews with a score of 3.5 out of 5 possible points Aroona enables fiber capacity upgrades in existing networks with multimode fibers. It provides an easy-to-deploy and cost-effective way to dramatically increase the bandwidth of a network, without new fiber deployment. The solution enables several 10 Gb/s channels over existing multimode infrastructures. It is also future-proof and compatible with next-generation transceivers, as will be presented by the Nokia (News - Alert) Bell Labs during an oral presentation on Monday March 20th, demonstrating a transmission at 5 Tb/s on 2km of multimode fiber. Presented annually by Lightwave, the Lightwave Innovation Reviews program distinguishes top products and solutions available within the optical networking industry as determined by a stellar panel of third-party judges. The jury was impressed by the technical characteristics of CAILabs' Aroona product and its performance, which respond to a real market need.
