AppNexus Appoints Kaylie Smith Managing Director, JAPAC and Head of Australian Market
NEW YORK, March 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AppNexus, the world's leading independent advertising technology company, today announced the appointment of Kaylie Smith as Managing Director, JAPAC, effective Monday, March 13, 2017. Based in Sydney, Smith will oversee AppNexus' strategic partnerships and commercial strategy in Asia Pacific, Japan and Australia. A longtime executive at DoubleClick, Smith more recently managed Rubicon Project's publisher division. She brings a proven track record in building and expanding innovative advertising technology companies and broad experience across JAPAC. Her appointment signals the company's continued traction in, and commitment to expanding its commercial footprint across, the region. Prior to joining Rubicon Project, Smith was a longtime executive at DoubleClick, where she served as Managing Director, JAPAC. Following Google's acquisition of DoubleClick, she transitioned into the role of Google's Head of Platforms, JAPAC.
