These programs will now be able to track and monitor student- athletes with wearable technology to aid in performance tracking and injury prevention. Starting in the 2017 season, each will begin to use G-VERT™ Team System Technology with multi-appendage capabilities. This technology allows coaches and trainers to accurately track jump, kinetic energy, stress percent and intensity load from the player's waistline and on any extremity. G-VERT™ is small enough to be applied to specific appendages (example: left or right calf) to gather asymmetry and limb specific data.
