High-Tech Bridge Teams with Imperva for Virtual Vulnerability Patching of Web Services and Applications

High-Tech Bridge, a leading application security testing company, announced it has teamed with Imperva to integrate High-Tech Bridge's ImmuniWeb platform with the Imperva SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF) solution. In addition, High-Tech Bridge has become a member of the Imperva PartnerSphere Technology Alliance Program (TAP).

Web application security is critical to protecting an organization's data and applications and in assuring compliance. Gartner's (News - Alert) Hype Cycle for Application Security 2016 states that applications, not infrastructure, represent the main attack vector for data exfiltration. Verizon's (News - Alert) Data Breach Investigation Report (DBIR) for 2016 states that attacks on web applications accounted for over 40 percent of incidents resulting in a data breach and were the single-largest source of data loss.

The new offering from High-Tech Bridge integrates its award-winning web application security testing platform ImmuniWeb® with the industry-leading Imperva SecureSphere WAF. With the release of the integrated solution, ImmuniWeb Continuous and On-Demand customrs can export accurate, human-verified vulnerability data into SecureSphere WAF to deploy virtual vulnerability patching.

Ilia Kolochenko, CEO and founder of High-Tech Bridge, says: "We are delighted to join efforts with Imperva to deliver additional value and benefits to our customers. Our technologies are an ideal complement to each other in their ability to protect corporate web applications, which can be one of the weakest points of corporate cyber security. We look forward to continuing to work with Imperva to deliver innovative solutions to customers."

"We're excited to welcome High-Tech Bridge to our TAP program and to name ImmuniWeb as an Imperva Certified Solution," said Ayelet Steintz, vice president of business development at Imperva. "Together the Imperva and High-Tech Bridge solution will enable customers to manage vulnerabilities at a granular level and implement virtual patching to help secure vulnerable web services and applications and improve their overall security posture."

The ImmuniWeb platform is based on High-Tech Bridge's proprietary machine learning technology that is used for intelligent automation of web vulnerability scanning. Complemented by human intelligence in parallel to automated web application assessment, it delivers the same scope, reliability and comprehensibility of application security testing as a manual penetration test but in less time and at a more competitive price. One of the benefits of ImmuniWeb is a contractual guarantee of zero false-positives. If a false-positive is found, High-Tech Bridge reimburses the client for the entire amount of the assessment.

About the Imperva Technology Alliance Program

The Imperva PartnerSphere Technology Alliance Program (TAP) enables security technology companies and vendors to integrate and co-market their products with the award-winning Imperva cyber security portfolio to create solutions that deliver added value for customers and generate revenue growth for TAP Partners. TAP Partners whose products meet specific interoperability requirements are treated as "Imperva Certified Solutions."
