Wizeline Hires Silicon Valley Leader Gagan Saksena as Senior Vice President of Technology & Engineering


Wizeline, a provider of enterprise Artificial Intelligence applications and services, today announced that Gagan Saksena has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Technology and Engineering. A veteran of companies like Google (News - Alert) and Netscape, Saksena will apply his decades of experience in big data and analytics, core engineering and technology leadership to drive Wizeline's next phase of growth and innovation.

Saksena has worked with Wizeline as a strategic advisor since 2015. The company currently has over 250 employees across three offices in San Francisco, California, Guadalajara, Mexico, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With 50 percent of Wizeline employees working in product and engineering, Gagan's experience as a seasoned executive with both technical and business experience will support Wizeline's growth as it hires some of the best engineering talent around the world and delivers innovative solutions to Fortune 2000 companies.

Starting his career in Silicon Valley as a principal software engineer at Netscape, he worked on one of the world's first consumer Web browsers. In 2003, Saksena accepted an engineering management position at Google where he played a critical role in scaling the compay's content monetization platform, AdSense. Saksena was also founder and CEO of Ideascopic, a real-time analytics company serving brick-and-mortar stores. Following Ideascopic, he served in executive positions in numerous startups to help them scale.
