Coinstar Names Thien Truong Chief Revenue OfficerBELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Coinstar, a leader in self-service coin counting, today announced the appointment of Thien Truong as chief revenue officer starting immediately. In this position, Truong will focus on driving company growth through new product innovation, product management, marketing strategies and business development.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales and business development at Green Dot Corp. In this role, Truong drove new business, developed new distribution channels and secured partnerships that significantly contributed to the company's annual revenue goals. Prior to this position, he held a variety of leadership roles at AmericanExpress. His accomplishments included launching and managing the largest retail prepaid card distribution in the world, introducing the first international American Express-branded prepaid card and securing relationships with top mass merchant and drug store retailers. Earlier in his career, Truong held various leadership roles at PepsiCo, Nestle and Proctor & Gamble.
