Leading systems integrator and TTG group member affini Technology has unveiled its new Senior Management Team. The announcement comes as part of a drive to develop the company’s core offering in the aviation sector, to target new markets and enhance international growth.

Leading the technology strategy is Alison Young who has been appointed as affini’s new Head of Consulting. She joins affini from Ericsson where she held the position of Global Senior Engagement Director for IT Managed Services and was responsible for leading teams on key bids and projects across Western Europe and Africa.

Commenting on her appointment Alison said: “affini has a strong reputation for delivering bespoke communications and ICT solutions in business critical and challenging environments. I’m thrilled to be on board for the next phase of growth and look forward to playing a key role in developing affini’s partner ecosystem.” The Senior Management Team is completed by Malcolm Dunn, Head of Business Solutions & Systems Integration, and Gary Goodrum who holds the position of Head of Managed Services.

With a background in strategy development, systems transformation and operations leadership in major blue-chip companies, Malcolm has extensive experience in managing business and product development for major telecoms software and network infrastructure vendors. At affini he is responsible for the sale of large managed services contracts, as well as the delivery of systems integration projects.

Gary has over 12 years’ experience in engineering and service delivery. As Head of Managed Services he is responsible for transforming affini’s operating processes, introducing new regimes for service delivery management and overseeing the on-boarding of critical customer contracts including SITA, HAL and Menzies.

Kevin Newport, affini CEO, said: “The disruption caused by Digital Radio and IoT technologies is forcing businesses and operational environments to evolve. For affini, this brings a great opportunity to expand the scope of our services. In the new management team we have a wealth of leadership and technology experience which, combined with expert knowledge in the Telecoms, IT and Broadcast sector, will enable affini to play a key role in revolutionising critical communications.”
