Gekkobrain Helps SAP Denmark and ATP Assess HANA ReadinessAARHUS, Denmark, Dec. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanalyzer was used to assess the quality and HANA readiness of ATP's custom code. For many SAP users, assessing the custom code is a crucial first step before the actual HANA upgrade. If the custom code is not analyzed and prepared for HANA, it will either slow down the performance of SAP or even result in programs not working after an upgrade. Hanalyzer was installed on ATP's ECC and BW systems and, which were checked for SAP HANA readiness, S/4 HANA readiness and a dependency check. The latter checks are designed to highlight, whether custom code uses SAP function modules that are obsolete or soon will be. As this particular case is only for assessment, ATP does not need the task management functionality in Hanalyzer. With the Sprint planning tool, users can setup rules to allow Hanalyzer to generate recommendations for sprints based on a combination of many different attributes such as impact, complexity, usage, priority etc. Once the upgrade project starts, Hanalyzer then monitors the progress by constantly scanning the custom code and watches whether issues have been fixed or not.
