Colorado Cleantech Industries Association Announces the Winners of the 2016 Cleantech AwardsLast night, the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) presented awards to five recipients at the annual "Colorado Cleantech Awards Celebration." Recipients were acknowledged for their efforts in advancing Colorado's cleantech ecosystem, increasing jobs and driving innovation in the cleantech sector. "It is an honor to recognize the leaders in our community who are building and expanding Colorado's cleantech ecosystem," said Chris Shapard, CCIA's (News - Alert) executive director. "These individuals and companies represent the exceptional leadership and advanced technology development native to the state of Colorado. We look forward to supporting their continued success." Winners were selected based on their impact in the local, national and global cleantech marketplaces. Cleantech impact was gauged by examining the winners' ability to achieve viable market strategies, entrepreneurial activity, raise funds to support technology development or commercialization efforts, and statewide job creation. Legislator of the Year: The Cleantech Awards Celebration also marks the fourth release of CCIA's "Innovative Energy Review" magazine.
