Following its Recent BESS Deal with E.ON in National Grid Project, Nidec ASI Opens UK Branch in LondonMILAN, October 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The industrial solutions multinational has solidified 100 MW in energy storage projects for the European photovoltaic (PV) and BESS markets Following the closing of an important contract with E.ON for a battery energy storage system (BESS) for the UK National Grid project, global industrial solutions provider Nidec ASI has announced the opening of its local branch in London. The E.ON project, in which Nidec ASI will supply a 10-MW battery energy storage system for Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) Service to National Grid, is expected to break ground by the end of the year. Nidec ASI is seeing significant business growth in Europe's PV and BESS markets.
